Race Course

Home of the University of Iowa Men's and Women's Cross Country teams, Ashton Cross Country Crouse is located west of Finkbine Golf Course, and adjacent to the University's West Campus project, which includes the Athletic Hall of Fame and soccer fields.

The course boasts a rolling terrain with an outstanding rhythm for running. Features include a 2,000-meter perimeter and a layout that enables spectators to view the entire race, from start to finish, from one vantage point.

Directions

From the West, North or East:

Take exit 242 to First Avenue (Coralville). This becomes Mormon Trek as you cross Hwy 6 going south. Turn West on Hawkeye Park Road. You will pass the soccer complex on your right (north) and enter the west parking area where the entrance to the cross country course will be on your right (north) which you enter on a short gravel drive.

From the South:

Take Hwy 218 to Melrose exit. Go east on Melrose to Hawkeye Hawkeye Park Road. Follow this to West Parking area just west of Soccer Complex.Approximate travel time: 15 minutes.
